Role Overview

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager with strong FMCG experience to manage end-to-end supply chain and operational activities, including procurement coordination, inventory planning, warehouse operations, order processing, dispatch, logistics, and delivery.

The candidate should have hands-on experience managing supply chain operations for FMCG products across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, etc.

The role requires strong operational ownership, coordination skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Operations

- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from inventory planning to final dispatch and delivery.
- Plan stock availability based on sales requirements, forecasts, and channel-wise demand.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, sales, finance, and logistics teams.
- Identify operational gaps and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
- Ensure smooth flow of products across warehouses, distribution channels, and customers.

E-commerce & Quick-Commerce Operations
- Manage supply and operational requirements for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, and similar channels.
- Ensure timely order processing, inventory availability, dispatch, and replenishment.
- Monitor platform-specific operational requirements, SLAs, order fulfilment, and stock availability.
- Coordinate with marketplace/quick-commerce teams for operational issues, shortages, cancellations, and replenishment requirements.




- Monitor channel-wise inventory and identify potential stock-outs or excess inventory.

Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and coordinate replenishment based on demand.
- Ensure accurate inventory records across physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate warehouse activities including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch.
- Monitor stock ageing, expiry, damages, shortages, and inventory discrepancies.
- Implement proper inventory control and stock movement processes.

Dispatch & Logistics
- Oversee daily dispatch planning and ensure timely shipment of orders.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and transporters for vehicle availability and shipment movement.
- Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery.
- Monitor delivery timelines, delays, discrepancies, damages, and returns.
- Ensure accurate dispatch documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR/GR, and other required documents.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and logistics costs.

Demand Planning & Coordination
- Analyse sales trends, historical data, inventory levels, and upcoming requirements to support demand planning.
- Coordinate with the sales team to understand upcoming orders and market requirements.
- Ensure adequate inventory availability while minimizing excess and slow-moving stock.
- Support production planning by providing inventory and demand inputs.

MIS & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and review regular supply chain and operations MIS.
- Track key metrics including:
- Inventory levels
- Order fulfilment
- Dispatch performance
- Stock-outs
- Order processing time
- Delivery performance
- Returns and damages
- Logistics costs
- Inventory ageing
- Use Excel/ERP/WMS or relevant systems to analyse data and prepare reports.




- Identify operational issues through data and take corrective action.

Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics/service partners.
- Manage and guide warehouse, dispatch, and logistics-related teams as required.
- Ensure clear communication and timely execution of operational requirements.
- Escalate critical supply chain issues and provide timely solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience, with FMCG experience mandatory.
- Strong experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, dispatch, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce and quick-commerce operations is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience working with platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, or similar platforms will be strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and order fulfilment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Good understanding of logistics documentation and dispatch processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment and manage multiple priorities.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced FMCG supply chain qualified with strong operational ownership. They should be comfortable working with high-volume, fast-moving orders and managing the operational requirements of e-commerce and quick-commerce channels.

The candidate should be data-driven, highly organized, quick at problem-solving, and strong in communication and coordination, with the ability to manage supply chain operations from inventory planning through dispatch and final delivery.
