We are seeking a Supplier Document Analyst to manage supplier documentation reviews and ensure compliance before products are shipped to Weatherford manufacturing sites. The role coordinates with suppliers, third-party teams, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to ensure accurate documentation, timely approvals, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review supplier documentation for completeness and compliance before shipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve missing or incorrect documentation.
- Review Supplier Ready-to-Ship requests and issue Authorization to Ship.
- Develop and improve processes for supplier document submission, storage, and retrieval.
- Review material test reports for incoming products.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, and Procurement to prioritize document reviews and prevent production delays.
- Support Supplier Quality Engineers with audit preparation.
- Monitor KPIs, identify process bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Manage supplier corrective and preventive actions related to documentation issues.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation review and approval processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Basic knowledge of databases, information retrieval, and document uploading.
- Knowledge of raw materials, chemical composition, and mechanical properties.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering document control and approval.
- Related field experience preferred.
- Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.
- Travel: Less than 10%, including potential domestic and international travel.
