About RenTen

RenTen is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace. Most of us own things we barely use, like a camera, a tent or a drill, while someone nearby needs exactly that. Through RentCircles, people can rent out what they already own and borrow what they need, with verified profiles and secure payments.

We're early. About 1,000 downloads, a few hundred active users, and a small team figuring it out as we go. We believe in owning less, earning more, and sharing smarter.

The Role: Supplier Outreach Intern (Calling)

Remote | 1 Month | Unpaid A marketplace is only as good as what's listed on it. Your job is to call people and local businesses who own useful items, explain how RenTen works, and help them get their first listings live. You'll be the first voice many of our suppliers hear from us.

What you'll do

- Call potential suppliers (individuals, shops, rental businesses) from lists we share
- Explain RenTen simply and get them interested in listing their items
- Guide them through creating their first listing on the app
- Follow up with people who showed interest but haven't listed yet
- Keep a simple record of every call: who you spoke to, the outcome, and next steps
- Share what you hear on calls:



common objections, questions, and what convinces people

What we're looking for
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Comfortable speaking with strangers on the phone and handling a "no" politely
- Clear, friendly, and patient when explaining things
- Organised enough to track your calls and follow-ups without reminders
- Self-starting. We're remote, and you'll often be working on your own
- Students and freshers are welcome

Positive to have
- Marathi, since many of our suppliers are in Maharashtra
- Any past experience in calling, sales, customer support, or field outreach
