Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Chennai.

The Student

Counselor will meet with prospective students and families to understand academic goals, interests, and financial considerations, and provide guidance on suitable international study options. The role involves explaining application processes, admission requirements, and visa procedures, and supporting students with documentation, forms, and deadlines.

Counselor will conduct information sessions, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person,



and maintain accurate records in internal systems. The position also includes coordinating with partner institutions, participating in education fairs or events, and ensuring a high level of student satisfaction and qualified service throughout the counseling process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners toward appropriate international education pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and partner institutions.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Education-related fields, preferably with an understanding of international university systems and admission processes.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain organized documentation.
- Proficiency in English; additional Indian languages are an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, study abroad consulting, or academic advising is preferred.
- High level of integrity, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to supporting diverse student backgrounds.
