Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Counsellor who can counsel students and parents, understand their requirements, and guide them towards the right courses and programs offered by SciAstra.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding research-oriented career paths and entrance examinations such as IAT, NEST, IISc, IISER, etc.
- Understand student aspirations, academic background and requirements to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and convert prospective students into enrollments.
- Build strong and trust-based relationships with students and parents.
- Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Explain course structure, benefits, fees, admission process and other relevant details.




- Maintain accurate lead information and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Track student interactions and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned sales and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams to ensure a smooth admission journey.
- Maintain regular reports on leads, follow-ups, conversions and sales performance.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Counselling, Inside Sales or EdTech.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with students and parents over calls.
- Target-oriented and proactive approach.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems and lead management.
- Experience in EdTech counselling or sales will be preferred.
- Knowledge of competitive examinations such as IAT, NEST, IISc and IISER will be an advantage.
