Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Leh.

The Structural

Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for bridges, buildings, and other civil infrastructure, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing structural calculations, developing and checking CAD drawings and design details, coordinating with project managers, architects, and site engineers, and providing technical support during construction. The role also involves inspecting site conditions, resolving structural issues, and preparing technical reports and documentation.

The Structural

Engineer will contribute to optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness,



constructability, and long-term performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with solid knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations for various structural systems and materials.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), including creating and reviewing structural drawings and detailing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in designing and analyzing structures for infrastructure projects such as bridges, buildings, and highways.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000) and familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work in a challenging on-site environment in Leh.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.
- Registration with a professional engineering body and prior experience in large-scale construction projects are advantageous.
