- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, and supporting documents.
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other material-receipt records.
- Properly store and organize raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock registers / ERP records and ensure system stock matches physical stock.
- Issue materials against authorized Material Requisition / Issue Slips.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and support periodic stock audits.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the concerned department about shortages or slow-moving items.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, binning, and preservation of materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Logistics teams.




- Maintain records for rejected, damaged, excess, and obsolete materials.
- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and proper material-handling practices within the stores area.
- Track inward and outward material movements and maintain necessary documentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports as required.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory-control policies.
