Key Objective:

To manage and control all Store including receipt, storage, preservation and issue of materials to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Management:

- Receipt, verification, inspection and proper storage of general items, mechanical

spares, electrical items, consumables, bearings, belts, tools, lubricants etc.
- Inspection, storage and issue of all hazardous chemicals and raw materials
- Maintain proper stock levels, FIFO (First-In, First-Out) / FEFO ((First Expired, First Out) system and ABC analysis (Inventory Management).
- Ensure proper labeling.

Safety:

- Conduct regular safety audits of the chemical store.

Coordination & Documentation:

- Maintain Stock Registers, Bin Cards, GRN & Issue Slips.




- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, QC, EHS & Logistics Departments.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to maintenance team to avoid breakdown delays.
- Prepare daily / monthly stock reports, consumption reports and MIS

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate / MBA (Material Management)
- Robust knowledge of mechanical spares and general engineering materials.
- Good leadership, inventory control and documentation skills
- Knowledge of stores procedures and audit compliance
- Knowledge of ERP - MM Module is essential.
