Job Summary

Experienced and results-oriented Store Manager Menswear to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume menswear retail store. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in fashion/menswear retail, strong team leadership skills, excellent customer service orientation, and a proven ability to achieve sales and profitability targets.

The Store Manager will be responsible for sales performance, customer experience, team management, inventory control, visual merchandising, store operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor store KPIs including sales, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, footfall, and productivity.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve sales and store profitability.
- Analyze daily and periodic sales reports and take corrective actions.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling across menswear categories.
- Ensure effective implementation of promotional and seasonal campaigns.

2. Customer Experience

- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Build strong relationships with regular and high-value customers.
- Ensure the sales team provides knowledgeable advice on products, fits, styling, and trends.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.

3. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the store team.
- Manage training, performance reviews, and staff scheduling.
- Set individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular briefings and performance reviews.
- Develop team members through continuous product, selling-skills, and customer-service training.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, grooming, and professional standards.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

- Ensure accurate stock receiving, tagging, storage, replenishment, and transfers.




- Monitor stock availability and ensure optimum inventory levels.
- Minimize stock loss, damages, and shrinkage.
- Conduct regular stock audits and participate in physical inventory counts.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving merchandise.
- Coordinate with merchandising/warehouse teams for replenishment.

5. Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

- Ensure the store follows brand visual merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain attractive product presentation, displays, mannequins, signage, and promotional areas.
- Ensure appropriate product placement based on customer demand and sales performance.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, ambience, and grooming.

6. Store Operations

- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
- Maintain compliance with company SOPs and operational policies.
- Monitor cash handling, billing, deposits, and daily reconciliation.
- Ensure proper functioning of POS systems and other store technology.
- Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

7. Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly store performance reports.
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, inventory movement, and team productivity.
- Present actionable insights and improvement plans to senior management.
- Maintain accurate operational and sales records.

Candidate Profile Minimum 8 years of experience in retail, with strong preference for menswear/fashion/lifestyle retail. At least 2-3 years in a Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership role is highly preferable.

5. Proficiency in POS/retail systems and MS Office/Google Workspace.
6. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
7. Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and during peak seasons/festivals.
