Job Title: Store Keeper

Location: Kolkata, Kasba Industrial Estate

Experience: 6 months – 1 year

Qualification: ITI or Diploma (Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical preference)

Salary Range: Upto 18,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance and accurate recording of materials and inventory. The candidate will coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Service and Accounts departments to ensure smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials and verify their quantity and condition against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, material inward and outward records, issue slips and stock registers.
- Issue materials to the concerned departments against approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate physical and system-based inventory records.
- Arrange materials systematically and ensure proper identification, labelling and storage.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about replenishment requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.




- Maintain records of rejected, damaged, returned and non-moving materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters and internal departments for material movement.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety and proper housekeeping within the store.
- Assist during internal and statutory audits by providing relevant inventory records.
- Perform any other store-related responsibilities assigned by Management.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Familiarity with GRN, challans, stock registers and material requisition procedures.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Good record-keeping and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
