Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and seasoned leader for the role of State Head Used Commercial Vehicle Finance.

The State

Head will hold complete Profit & Loss (P&L;) responsibility for the state, managing multiple Team Leaders (TLs) and their respective field teams. The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years of experience in retail asset financing, with a deep focus on Commercial Vehicles, and a proven track record of scaling state-level operations while maintaining robust portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities & KRAs

- State P&L; Ownership: Drive the top-line and bottom-line business targets for the entire state, ensuring consistent growth across Used CVs and all newly introduced CV products.
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Team Leaders. Build a high-performance culture and manage manpower planning, retention, and succession across branches.
- Strategic Distribution & Expansion: Identify and set up operations in untapped geographies, cities, and rural clusters within the state to expand market share.
- Strategic Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Credit, Risk, and Operations heads to optimize loan turnaround times (TAT)



and refine underwriting policies based on state-specific market realities.
- Portfolio Quality & Risk Mitigation: Maintain overall state portfolio health. Implement proactive strategies alongside the collections team to control early delinquencies (0-90 DPD) and minimize Net NPAs.
- Key Relationship Management: Personally manage strategic relationships with top-tier multi-city vehicle dealers, large fleet operators, brokers, and channel partners across the state.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Finance (with significant exposure to the Used CV market). At least 5 years in a regional or state-level leadership role managing supervisors/TLs.
- Education: Graduate, Post-Graduate / MBA in Finance/Marketing or Business Management is highly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Robust strategic planning, financial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and macro-level risk assessment skills.
- Market Network: Deep geographic knowledge of the state's transport hubs, transit corridors, and major used vehicle markets.
