Hiring | State RCU Head – Micro LAP / LAP

We are looking for an experienced State RCU Head to join our growing Micro LAP NBFC team and lead fraud risk management, field investigations, and RCU governance for the state.

Location: Chennai - Ambattur

Reporting To: Head – RCU & Vigilance

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the RCU agency/team across the state.
- Oversee field verification, customer due diligence, and vendor audits.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and RBI guidelines.
- Identify early warning signals and emerging fraud patterns in collaboration with Credit, Operations, Legal, Analytics, and Collections teams.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for fraud cases and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed.
- Handle investigations involving internal/external parties, including whistleblower cases.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, external investigators, and regulatory bodies when required.
- Prepare investigation reports, MIS,



and management presentations.
- Identify process gaps and recommend process improvements to mitigate fraud and risk.

Candidate Profile

- 8–10 years of experience in Pre/Post RCU, preferably in Micro LAP / LAP.
- Experience in NBFCs, Banks are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail lending operations and fraud typologies.
- Strong field investigation and stakeholder/partner management experience.
- Good understanding of document, property, customer, identity, collusion, vendor, and collection fraud.
- Robust analytical, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive investigations with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong local area knowledge and proactive field experience preferred.
