Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support statutory compliance, and assist in financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting transactions and supporting the organization’s financial and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and ledger accounts.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Verify invoices, bills, payment documents, and supporting records.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns.
- Calculate and process TDS deductions.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for statutory requirements.
3. Financial Reporting
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure.
- Analyze financial data and highlight discrepancies or variances.
- Provide financial information and reports to management as required.
4. Payroll & Statutory Deductions
- Process employee salary and payroll-related accounting entries.
- Verify PF, ESI,
Professional Tax, and other statutory deductions.
- Verify employee salary statements and payroll-related records.
- Coordinate with HR regarding payroll and statutory accounting requirements.
5. Audit Support
- Assist during internal, statutory, tax, and other audits.
- Provide financial records and supporting documents required for audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting transactions.
6. Record Management & MIS
- Maintain accounting records, files, vouchers, and financial documents.
- Ensure proper storage and easy retrieval of financial information.
- Prepare MIS and other financial reports as required.
- Support management with accurate and timely financial data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance , or a related field.
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime .
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax .
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
