Staff Accountant (In office, Location - Mohali)

We're hiring a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting for our U.S.-based Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage fixed assets in Oracle (additions, transfers, disposals, WIP, depreciation)
- Review P&L; accounts and flag unusual variances
- Assist with financial statements, AP invoice coding, and vendor setup
- Support audit requests, ad hoc analysis, and process improvements

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ year of general accounting experience, including month-end close
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP- Oracle (Fixed Assets)



strongly preferred; NetSuite a plus
- Strong Excel skills and good English communication
- Able to meet tight deadlines and coordinate during U.S. business hours when needed

Work Cycle
- Days 1–7: Month-end close, JEs, fixed assets, P&L; review
- Days 8–15: Balance sheet reconciliations
- Rest of month: Projects, analysis, and process improvement

Salary: Up to ₹50,000 per month, based on last drawn salary and interview performance. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
