Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and committed SST Teacher to teach Grades 5 to 7, with a strong academic background and subject expertise in Geography. The candidate should be able to make Social Studies engaging, interactive, and relevant to students' everyday lives while maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging SST lessons for Grades 5–7, with a major focus on Geography.

- Teach concepts such as physical and human geography, maps, resources, climate, environment, and geographical processes in an age-appropriate manner.

- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, assessments, and other teaching-learning resources.

- Use maps, visual aids, presentations, activities, and technology to make Geography and Social Studies concepts interesting and easy to understand.

- Assess students' learning through classwork, assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.

- Monitor and document students' academic progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.

- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support or remedial instruction where required.

- Maintain effective classroom management and create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

- Encourage students to develop critical thinking, observation, analytical, and communication skills.

- Participate in school events, academic activities, projects, field trips,



and co-curricular activities as required.

- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to support students' overall development.

- Maintain required academic records, student documentation, and assessment records.

- Follow the school's academic policies, curriculum guidelines, child-safety standards, and qualified code of conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography / Social Studies / History / Political Science or a relevant subject.

- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school requirements.

- Previous teaching experience in Grades 5–7 is preferred.

- Strong subject knowledge, particularly in Geography.

- Good English communication and classroom presentation skills.

- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE or the relevant school curriculum will be an advantage.

- Ability to effectively use digital tools and technology for teaching and learning.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
