We are seeking an experienced SRE / Observability Senior Engineer with 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Observability Engineering. The role will focus on observability strategy, instrumentation, monitoring, distributed tracing, dashboards, alerting, and incident management across distributed applications and platforms.

Skill / Qualifications

- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Observability Engineering.

- Robust hands-on experience with at least two of New Relic, Grafana, Kibana/ELK.

- Hands-on OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, structured logging, and log aggregation.

- Strong understanding of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, MTTD, and MTTR.

- Experience with Prometheus, APM, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.

- Knowledge of Looker, DataStudio, Power BI, or similar BI tools is preferred.

- Experience with Argo/ArgoCD and incident/service management tools is preferred.

- Understanding of security, audit logging, PII, data access, and data residency requirements.

- Experience with high-volume/transactional platforms is preferred.

- AI-first mindset with experience using Claude Code,



GitHub Copilot CLI, or LLM-based developer tools.

Job Responsibilities

- Define and implement observability strategy, instrumentation, logging, and tracing.

- Identify monitoring gaps and define SLIs/SLOs aligned with customer and business impact.

- Build and maintain New Relic, Grafana, and Kibana/ELK dashboards.

- Implement OpenTelemetry, APM, distributed tracing, and centralized logging.

- Monitor alerts, support on-call operations, incident escalation, and postmortems.

- Tune alerts and drive improvements in MTTD/MTTR and error-budget performance.

- Develop technical and business KPI dashboards for application and transaction health.

- Establish observability standards, runbooks, naming conventions, and governance.

- Ensure compliance with security, PII, audit, and data residency requirements.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Compliance teams to improve platform reliability.
