Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to own the infrastructure, security, and performance of all our WordPress websites. This role goes beyond theme and plugin development — you’ll be responsible for hardening our sites, maintaining compliance-related controls, and ensuring our websites are fast, secure, and reliable.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

- Build and maintain WooCommerce-based storefronts and integrations

- Work with Elementor/Gutenberg and the WordPress REST API to extend site functionality

- Implement WordPress security hardening practices (Wordfence, WAF)

- Maintain SOC 2-relevant controls and audit logging on web infrastructure





- Manage Cloudflare CDN configuration and caching strategies (Redis, WP Rocket)

- Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and overall site performance

- Manage Azure/Linux hosting environments and server configuration

- Maintain backup and staging workflows for secure deployments

- Implement technical SEO best practices across websites

- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues across multiple WordPress properties

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
