Key Responsibilities

- Raw Material Quality Control

Inspect and approve incoming raw materials such as cement, polymers, fillers, quartz, white cement, additives, etc. Maintain specification sheets and testing parameters for Grey &
- White tile adhesive formulations.

Conduct moisture, fineness, specific gravity, and compatibility tests for raw materials.
- In-Process Quality Monitoring

Monitor batch mixing, viscosity, setting time, open time, slip resistance, tensile adhesion strength (shear & pull-off). Ensure process adherence during powder blending and fine micronization.

Identify and report batch variations, segregation issues, or color shade variations (especially for white adhesive).

- Finished Goods Quality Assurance

Conduct final QC tests as per IS 15477 / EN 12004 / ISO standards for:

Open Time

Slip Resistance

Tensile Adhesion Strength (Initial / After Water Immersion / Heat Aging)

Pot Life &

- Workability

Cohesive Strength

Approve or reject finished batches based on QC reports.

Maintain retention samples and quality records for audit.

- Documentation &
- Compliance

Prepare and update QC reports, batch-wise COA (Certificate of Analysis), test logs, calibration records.



Maintain ISO / BIS / Roff / MYK Laticrete / Weber equivalent quality benchmarks.

Coordinate with BIS auditors for IS mark compliance (if applicable).

- Lab Equipment Handling

Operate And Maintain QC Equipment Like

Tensile adhesion tester

Digital moisture meter

Vicat apparatus

Digital weighing scale, sieve shaker, lab mixer

Viscometer (if polymer-rich grade)

Ensure periodic calibration and upkeep of lab instruments.

- Customer Complaint Analysis

Analyze field failures like debonding, powder lump formation, low coverage, shade variation, etc. Coordinate with technical service team for site investigations.

Implement corrective & preventive action (CAPA).

- Logistics &
- Dispatch

Plan daily dispatch schedules based on sales orders and priority shipments. Coordinate with transporters for vehicle arrangement, freight negotiation and timely loading.

Verify dispatch documentation – invoice, e-way bills, packing lists, QC release note, etc.

Track shipments and update delivery status to sales/customer service teams.

Optimize dispatch routes and freight costs.
