Python and PowerShell, Playwright and Appium with Linux-based execution and troubleshooting

Integrate automation with Jira/Xray APIs

Create and maintain REST API automation

Automate mobile network validation workflows and testing across 4G and 5G scenarios

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions across mobile, desktop, web, API, and network-integrated systems. The role requires strong hands-on coding ability, deep test automation experience, and the ability to make good architectural decisions around modularity, reliability, and efficient use of data structures.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement automation frameworks for mobile, desktop, web, and API testing.
- Build and maintain robust automation for Android and mobile app workflows using Appium and Android Studio
- Develop Playwright-based automation for web and hybrid flows.
- Create and maintain REST API automation and server-client integration tests.
- Automate mobile network validation workflows and contribute to testing across 4G and 5G scenarios.
- Write efficient, maintainable code in Python and PowerShell, with Linux-based execution and troubleshooting.
- Review and improve automation architecture, modularity, scalability, and reusability.




- Integrate automation with Jira/Xray APIs and test management workflows.
- Perform pcap analysis where needed to validate network behavior and connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to debug failures and improve release quality.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with Appium and Android Studio.
- Strong experience with Playwright.
- Strong REST API automation experience.
- Experience in desktop and mobile application automation.
- Strong PowerShell and Linux command-line skills.
- Solid understanding of coding standards, modular design, scalability, and effective data structures.
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, unit test execution, debugging, and working with existing automation frameworks.
- Ability to independently analyse failures, debug issues, and build maintainable automation assets.
- Experience with server-client integration testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
