Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Firewall Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, and operational support of enterprise security infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks (Panorama), and Check Point technologies, along with strong knowledge of network security architecture, VPN technologies, and incident response. The engineer will act as the highest escalation point for complex security incidents and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls across enterprise environments. Administer and maintain Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall management and policy administration. Implement and support Palo Alto Strata security solutions. Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and security hardening activities. Troubleshoot complex network security incidents and firewall-related issues. Execute firewall migrations, upgrades, and software patching activities. Support security operations, incident response, and threat mitigation initiatives. Conduct firewall health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.



Collaborate with network, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams for project implementation. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements. Develop technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. Provide L3/L4 support and technical leadership for firewall-related activities.

Other Requirements

Other Requirement : Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline. experience in Network Security and Firewall Administration. Experience supporting large enterprise environments with multiple firewall platforms. Robust expertise in Fortinet/FortiGate Networks Firewalls. Extensive experience with Palo Alto Panorama. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Strata platform. Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. CCSE, NSE4/NSE7, Palo Alto Network Security Skilled
