Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire protection design industry.

- Design and develop fire protection systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and other building projects.
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D fire protection system designs using Autodesk Revit.
- Develop coordinated BIM models, layouts, shop drawings, and design documentation.
- Design systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and BS/EN standards and project requirements.
- Work on fire sprinkler, fire hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, fire suppression, and related fire protection systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment/system sizing where required.
- Coordinate fire protection designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other building services.
- Review drawings and ensure designs comply with project specifications and relevant codes and standards.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues during the design and coordination process.
- Prepare design drawings, specifications,



calculations, and other technical documentation.
- Support project teams during design development, coordination, and drawing revisions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 3 years of skilled experience in Fire Protection Design.
- Strong practical knowledge of fire protection system design.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, particularly for 3D fire protection/BIM design and modelling.
- Good knowledge of relevant NFPA and BS/EN standards.
- Experience with fire sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, and other fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience in fire protection design and Revit-based 3D modelling.
