Summary

UST is looking for Senior Software Engineer with Architecture experience to design, develop, and modernize cloud-native applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud architecture, event-driven systems, and application modernization, with the ability to lead technical decisions and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, API-first, cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Lead architecture discussions and drive technical best practices.
- Develop and support applications using React, Node.js, C#, and Python.
- Modernize legacy applications and migrate features from on-prem to cloud platforms.
- Implement event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor developers and contribute to technical strategy and innovation.

Required Skills

- 10-15+ years of software development experience.
- Solid AWS expertise (Serverless, Containers, Event-Driven Architecture).
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, C#, SQL, Oracle/Postgres, and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and cloud deployment methodologies.
- Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Python, Snowflake, Power BI
- Jenkins, Groovy, Shell Scripting
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)




- AI-assisted coding tools
- Insurance/Reinsurance domain experience
- AWS or Architecture certifications
