Role Description The Sourcing Specialist Crewing role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. The specialist will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting qualified crew for Tanker and Gas vessels, ensuring that staffing needs are met in line with operational and safety requirements.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining and expanding crewing databases, screening and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews and assessments, and managing documentation and compliance with maritime regulations. The role involves close collaboration with operations, procurement,



and HR teams to align crewing plans with vessel schedules and contractual obligations. The specialist will also support contract negotiation with crew members and agencies, monitor market trends in crewing, and contribute to continuous improvement of crewing processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate crewing requirements, assess candidate suitability, and interpret market data.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for coordinating with crew members, internal stakeholders, and external agencies.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to manage crew contracts and agreements with third-party providers.
- Candidates should possess Recruiting skills to source, screen, and select qualified maritime professionals for various vessel roles.
- Candidates should possess Procurement skills to support sourcing of crewing services and related vendors in alignment with company policies.
- Relevant experience in ship management, crewing, or maritime HR is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of international maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and industry best practices is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
