Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Diploma with 8–10 years’ relevant experience also considered)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in COTS sourcing, preferably electronic and electromechanical components
Core Training: Supplier NDA execution, pre-assessment & registration, supplier assessment and audit process
Preferred Exposure: Aerospace manufacturing industry; strong familiarity with the supplier base and the most competitive suppliers in the market

Key Responsibilities
- Source and obtain competitive quotes for all types of COTS parts within aggressive timelines.
- Review customer specifications and prepare the bill of materials (BOM) and product requirements for new products.
- Send and review supplier quotes for current projects to ensure on-time completion of product costing.
- Review BOM and costing, and negotiate prices for bidding projects.
- Conduct supplier meetings and visits.
- Continuously study and develop new materials and suppliers for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Proactively identify suppliers to address single-source risk, drive cost reduction, and replace underperforming suppliers.
- Develop, establish and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers.
- Track samples to ensure timely completion of material inward and incoming inspection for sample builds.
