Job Purpose:

Responsible for end-to-end scrap and waste management, including material assessment, vendor management, scrap sales, logistics, yard management, SAP transactions, documentation, MIS, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage recyclable/non-recyclable scrap assessment, segregation, disposal, and recycling activities.

- Identify and develop scrap buyers, recyclers, and service providers; negotiate competitive rates and improve scrap realization.

- Coordinate client visits, material inspection, scrap collection, and removal.

- Manage logistics including vehicle placement, loading, weighment, dispatch, and delivery.

- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, SAP, Compliance, and other stakeholders for approvals and execution.

- Prepare indents, quotations, Comparative Statements (CS), and coordinate PR/PO approvals.

- Ensure timely and accurate SAP transactions including PR, PO, MIGO, MIRO, and Consumption entries.

- Maintain vendor records, commercial documentation, invoices, weighment slips, e-way bills, and dispatch documents.

- Monitor scrap yard stock, segregation, stacking, housekeeping,



and timely removal of accumulated/slow-moving scrap.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS covering scrap stock, sales, purchases, logistics, realization, and pending activities.

- Provide regular management updates and escalate operational/commercial issues promptly.

Preferred candidate profile:

- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2-4 years of experience in scrap management, waste management, recycling, commercial operations, or industrial operations.

- Robust understanding of scrap/waste materials, grades, quality, valuation, and disposal/recycling processes.

- Experience in scrap sales, vendor development, rate negotiation, logistics, and yard management.

- Hands-on knowledge of SAP PR, PO, MIGO, MIRO and Consumption entries.

- Good skills in MIS, documentation, commercial coordination, and stakeholder management.

- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in recycling, waste management, manufacturing, industrial scrap, or related sectors will be preferred.
