Role Description: Solutions Manager – Retail Forex A full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role is responsible for owning the solutioning function for retail forex products, including Forex Cards and Outward Remittances, and driving initiatives across the complete lifecycle—from conceptualization and solution design to implementation and continuous enhancement.

The role involves translating customer and business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions while ensuring that offerings remain aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies, operational frameworks, technology capabilities, and evolving market trends.

The Solutions Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and other relevant functions to streamline processes, improve customer experience, enhance service delivery, and implement product and process improvements.

The role will also involve monitoring business and product performance, analyzing customer behavior and market trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and preparing management reports, presentations, and business insights to support strategic decision-making and new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities -

Own the solution design and implementation for retail forex and outward remittance products.

Drive initiatives from conceptualization and requirement gathering through solution design, development, implementation, and post-implementation enhancement.





Translate business and customer requirements into clear and actionable product/process solutions.

Ensure solutions are aligned with applicable RBI/FEMA regulations, internal policies, compliance requirements, and risk frameworks.

Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions within defined timelines.

Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and reduce friction across the customer journey.

Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, solution documents, and other relevant technical/functional documentation.

Monitor product and process performance through relevant KPIs and business metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Analyze customer behavior, transaction trends, market developments, and competitive offerings to identify new opportunities.

Support the conceptualization and launch of new products, features, and propositions in the retail forex and outward remittance space.

Prepare management presentations, performance reports, business cases, and analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.

Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, coordinating dependencies, timelines,



and deliverables across teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess product and process performance, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable solutions.

Strong knowledge of retail forex, outward remittances, FEMA/RBI regulations, and relevant banking products and processes, particularly within the Indian market.

Solid consulting and solutioning skills, with the ability to understand customer and business needs, evaluate alternatives, and develop solutions aligned with market, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, track, and deliver product and process enhancement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Ability to create business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, technical/functional documents, and implementation plans.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong presentation and documentation skills, with proficiency in data analysis and preparing management-level presentations and reports.

Experience

Prior experience in banking, retail forex, outward remittances, cross-border payments, or FinTech will be an added advantage.
