Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Rust with robust expertise in software architecture, Rust-based application development, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.

The role will focus on defining application architecture and guiding engineering teams in developing scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end software solutions using Rust, microservices, APIs, and distributed system architectures.
- Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define application architecture, service boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, and data flows.
- Guide engineering teams in developing production-grade Rust applications and services.
- Provide technical guidance on Rust architecture, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and application performance.
- Drive architecture decisions related to scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and architecture governance.
- Review existing application architectures and recommend improvements where required.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and architectural trade-offs.
- Ensure effective integration between backend services,



APIs, databases, and external systems.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Cloud, Security, Product, and Operations teams.
- Provide technical leadership during system integration, production readiness, and complex technical issues.
- Document architecture decisions, technical standards, dependencies, risks, and operational requirements.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Software Architecture.
- Strong production experience with Rust.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, performance optimization, and scalable application design.
- Experience designing cloud-hosted applications, preferably on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with observability and distributed tracing.
- Experience working with distributed or onsite/offshore engineering teams.
