Role Description This full-time, remote SolarWinds Implementation & Project Manager role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing SolarWinds-based monitoring and management solutions for client environments. The role involves gathering technical and business requirements, designing scalable SolarWinds architectures, and configuring modules to support network, server, application, and cloud monitoring. The manager coordinates project plans, manages timelines and resources, and collaborates with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and integration with existing IT infrastructure.

Daily tasks include conducting system assessments, leading implementation workshops, performing system testing and validation, preparing documentation, and delivering user training and knowledge transfer sessions.



The role also focuses on ongoing performance optimization, addressing issues, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess complex IT environments, interpret monitoring data, and optimize SolarWinds configurations.
- Candidates should possess Project Implementation and Software Implementation skills to plan, deploy, integrate, and upgrade SolarWinds solutions in diverse infrastructures.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, lead meetings, and produce clear documentation.
- Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Satisfaction, including responsiveness to issues, commitment to service quality, and a consultative approach to client needs.
- Relevant experience with SolarWinds products (e.g., NPM, SAM, NTA, VNQM) and IT monitoring tools, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and ITIL-based service management practices.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects, including scope definition, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Qualified certifications such as SolarWinds Certified Professional, ITIL, or relevant networking/system certifications are an advantage.
