Short Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the delivery, modernization, and operational excellence of a critical enterprise portfolio spanning Planisware, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and EWHMS applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform. This leader will balance hands-on engineering (40-60% of time) with people leadership, helping establish a high-performing engineering culture while driving architecture, modernization, platform reliability, DevSecOps practices, and AI-enabled engineering improvements.

Description The Engineering Manager will be accountable for technical leadership, solution architecture, engineering quality, operational excellence, and team development across a portfolio of enterprise planning, budgeting, project management, and workforce management solutions. The role requires deep experience in enterprise software delivery, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms, cloud integrations, Microsoft .NET technologies, and contemporary engineering practices. The successful candidate will lead engineers while remaining actively involved in technical design, production support, code reviews, performance optimization, incident management, and platform industrialization.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Design

- Maintain 40-60% hands-on involvement in architecture, design reviews, troubleshooting, and engineering decisions.
- Lead technical delivery across Planisware, Oracle EPM, and EWHMS platforms.
- Define solution architecture for integrations, APIs, databases, services, security, and cloud components.
- Establish engineering standards and reusable architecture patterns.
- Drive design reviews, technical governance, and production readiness assessments.
- Lead resolution of complex performance, integration, and data integrity issues.
- Evaluate technology decisions using a "configure, extend, integrate,



or build" framework.

Platform Engineering & Industrialization

- Drive lifecycle management for Planisware and Oracle EPM platforms, including upgrades, release planning, patching, and vendor engagement.
- Establish standards for configuration management, source control, testing, deployment, and rollback.
- Reduce operational complexity through automation and reusable tooling.
- Ensure platforms remain scalable, supportable, secure, and upgradeable.

DevSecOps & Operations

- Lead CI/CD implementation and engineering automation practices.
- Establish automated testing strategies across applications and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, access control, and vulnerability management requirements.
- Own production readiness, monitoring, incident response, recovery procedures, and operational metrics.
- Drive measurable improvements in platform availability, reliability, MTTR, and change success rates.

Product Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership

- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business priorities into delivery roadmaps and technical execution plans.
- Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and technical debt.
- Ensure engineering investments support measurable customer and business outcomes.

People Leadership

- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Conduct regular performance and career-development discussions.
- Create individual growth plans and succession strategies.




- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and psychological safety.
- Promote best practices through mentoring, architecture reviews, technical forums, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

AI-Enabled Engineering

- Drive adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Use AI to improve productivity through automation, testing, documentation, analysis, and operational support.
- Promote responsible AI usage while protecting confidential and sensitive enterprise data.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Significant experience in software engineering and enterprise application delivery.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, APIs, and SQL databases.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and production support practices.
- Strong architecture, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party software platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Planisware administration, configuration, scripting, integrations, and platform upgrades.
- Experience with Oracle EPM including planning, budgeting, forecasting, metadata management, and integrations.
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience supporting enterprise financial planning and portfolio management systems.
- Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Experience working within Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
