HVAC Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible HVAC Technician to join our engineering and vehicle modification team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of HVAC and air-conditioning systems used in customized vehicles and specialized applications.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
Perform AC piping, ducting, wiring, insulation, and component installation.
Diagnose and resolve HVAC system faults and performance issues.
Handle refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and system servicing.
Carry out testing and commissioning of HVAC systems after installation.
Work on HVAC systems integrated into Mobile Medical Units, Ambulances, Special Vehicles, and other customized vehicles.
Read and understand basic technical drawings and HVAC layouts.
Ensure proper installation, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with the engineering and production teams during installation and testing.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service records.

Requirements
ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning,



Mechanical or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC/RAC installation and servicing.
Practical knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Experience with troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, and HVAC maintenance.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work on customized/special-purpose vehicles.

Preferred Skills
Experience in vehicle AC / automotive HVAC systems.
Knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC components.
Experience with installation and commissioning of customized HVAC systems.
