Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Architecture Lead to support a large-scale enterprise modernization program. The role will lead the definition and evolution of target architecture, with a strong focus on microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API architecture, cloud platforms, and modern application engineering .

The successful candidate will work closely with global delivery teams, engineering leaders, product stakeholders, and technical specialists to define scalable, secure, and resilient architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and lead target-state software architecture for modernization initiatives.
- Develop architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Design microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to complex enterprise applications.
- Define API architecture , integration patterns, and service interfaces.
- Design scalable and resilient solutions across cloud and hybrid environments .
- Provide architectural guidance to development and engineering teams.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Evaluate existing legacy applications and define modernization and migration strategies .
- Collaborate with global delivery teams across different locations and time zones.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and design walkthroughs.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies,



and opportunities for improvement.
- Support technology selection, proof-of-concepts, and solution evaluations.
- Drive technical excellence across engineering teams and modernization workstreams.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, performance, availability, and maintainability .
- Produce architecture documentation, including HLDs, solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical roadmaps .

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with significant experience in architecture leadership.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems .
- Hands-on expertise with Microservices Architecture .
- Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and architectural patterns.
- Extensive experience with REST APIs, API gateways, integration patterns, and event-driven architecture .
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP .
- Strong knowledge of Java/.NET or other enterprise application technologies .
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .




- Strong understanding of databases, messaging systems, caching, and distributed data architectures.
- Experience working on legacy modernization, application transformation, or migration programs .
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, resiliency, observability, and performance engineering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event-driven architecture and platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with API Management platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices .
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment .
- Familiarity with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks .
- Experience working in large global transformation or modernization programs.
- Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are an advantage.
