Role Description The Social Media Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing Superfan.ng’s presence across social media platforms. In this position, you will plan and publish engaging content that highlights African languages and culture, including posts, stories, and short-form videos tailored to each channel.

You will monitor and respond to community interactions, track performance metrics, and adjust content strategies based on data and feedback. The role also involves collaborating with product, content, and marketing teams to support campaigns, launches, and partnerships,



ensuring brand consistency and audience growth across all social channels.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with experience growing and engaging online communities.
- Ability in Social Media Content Creation, including copywriting, visual storytelling, and basic multimedia production.
- Knowledge of Marketing principles, campaign planning, and audience segmentation.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse online audiences.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube) and their analytics tools.
- Demonstrated interest in African languages, culture, or edtech is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant experience in social media or digital marketing; a degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
