About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to design our newly acquired commercial space at Purnadas Road, Kolkata, which will be developed into a café.

The ideal candidate should understand F&B;/café interiors, customer flow, functionality, aesthetics, and commercial space optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Develop the complete interior concept and design for the café.
Plan floor layout, seating, kitchen/service areas, counters, lighting, furniture and décor.
Create 2D layouts, 3D renders and detailed design drawings.
Design the space to maximize customer experience, functionality and seating capacity.
Recommend suitable materials, furniture, finishes, lighting and colour palette.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors and fabricators during execution.
Conduct site visits and ensure execution is aligned with approved designs.
Work within the agreed budget and project timeline.




Suggest creative design elements that create a strong café identity and Instagram-friendly ambience.

Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in cafés, restaurants, QSRs or commercial spaces.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Blender, V-Ray or similar tools.
Strong understanding of commercial interior materials, lighting and furniture.
Good vendor/contractor coordination skills.
Strong design sense with attention to detail.
Portfolio of previous café/restaurant projects is preferred.
