We are looking for a creative, energetic, and strategy-driven Social Media Manager to showcase our school's vibrant campus life, achievements, and values to current and prospective parents.

Job Overview

As the Social Media Manager, you will lead our digital presence across all primary channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn). You will capture real-time school events, create compelling visual and written content, manage community interactions, and execute targeted campaigns to boost student admissions and brand awareness in Haldwani and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Content Creation & Planning:
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality visual content (photos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, event recaps, and announcements).
- Write engaging, error-free copy in English (and Hindi where applicable) tailored to parents, students, and alumni.
- Maintain a monthly digital content calendar covering academic milestones, sports meets, cultural events, student achievements, and admissions updates.
- Platform & Community Management:
- Manage and grow official school profiles on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Monitor comments, messages, and inquiries promptly with a helpful, professional tone.
- Engage with the local community, educational forums, and parent groups.
- Campaigns & Admissions Growth:
- Design and execute digital campaigns for annual admissions, open houses, and major school events.
- Run targeted Facebook and Instagram ads to reach prospective parents in Haldwani and nearby regions.




- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track engagement metrics, follower growth, website traffic, and admission lead conversions.
- Provide monthly performance insights to the school leadership team and optimize strategies based on data.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (prior experience with educational institutions or local brands in Uttarakhand is a strong plus).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in basic video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop).
- Strong photography and mobile videography skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, targeted local ad setup, and analytics.
- Attributes:
- Comfortable being present at school events, sports activities, and functions during operational hours.
- Highly creative with a strong pulse on current social media trends (audio trends, formats, storytelling).
