We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, assess vision and ocular health, prescribe corrective lenses, identify eye conditions, and refer patients to ophthalmologists when specialist care is required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Perform visual acuity testing, objective and subjective refraction, and binocular vision assessments.
Conduct slit-lamp examinations, IOP measurements and other relevant diagnostic tests.
Identify refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses and low-vision aids as appropriate.
Detect suspected ocular diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when required.
Explain examination procedures, findings and eye-care recommendations clearly to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of optometry equipment.
Follow patient-safety,
hygiene and infection-control protocols.
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative assessments when required.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists, nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in eye-screening camps and community eye-care programs when required.
Qualifications
B.Optom / Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent qualification.
Required qualified registration/licensing, where applicable.
Freshers and experienced candidates may be considered depending on the position.
Good clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Ability to operate common optometric instruments.
