Role Description The SOC Corporate Trainer role at Thinkcloudly is a remote, part time position focused on delivering high-quality training in Security Operations Center (SOC) concepts and practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating SOC training materials, preparing and delivering virtual classes, workshops, and hands-on labs, and guiding learners through real-world security scenarios and use cases. The trainer will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support interview preparation related to SOC and cybersecurity roles.

This position also involves collaborating with the curriculum team to refine course content, staying current with industry trends and tools,



and ensuring that training aligns with market needs and organizational standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of SOC operations and cybersecurity fundamentals, such as incident detection, analysis, response, and reporting.
- Experience with common SOC tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM platforms, log analysis tools, endpoint security solutions) and practical security monitoring workflows.
- Demonstrated training, teaching, or corporate coaching experience, with ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including comfort leading remote, video-based sessions for diverse groups of learners.
- Ability to create and refine training materials, labs, and assessments that are structured, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage part-time teaching commitments and learner support in a remote environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar) and prior experience working in a SOC or cybersecurity role are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
