Data Warehousing Engineer – Snowflake

We are looking for a hands-on Data Warehousing Engineer with strong experience building and supporting production data platforms using Snowflake .

The role requires solid experience across data warehousing, data modeling, ingestion, transformation, performance optimization, governance, and production support. You will work closely with U.S.-based customers and stakeholders and take ownership of solutions from development through production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data ingestion and ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Develop dimensional models, data marts, and reusable data structures.
- Implement data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse utilization, and cost.
- Implement security, RBAC, data access, and governance standards.
- Monitor and support production data pipelines and resolve issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and lineage.
- Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables through implementation and production support.

- RBAC and access control
- Secure views and policy-based security
- PII and sensitive data protection
- Data governance and lineage

Preferred Tooling Experience
- Transformation: dbt
- Orchestration: Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Dagster, or Matillion
- Ingestion: Fivetran, Informatica, Kafka, Python/API pipelines
- DevOps: Git, CI/CD, Terraform
- BI: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

Experience
- 4–5 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Strong production experience with Snowflake
- Experience supporting live data and analytics platforms
- Experience working with U.S. or international stakeholders
- Ability to independently own technical deliverables from design through production

Snowflake Certifications: Snowflake certifications are preferred, including:

- SnowPro Core
- SnowPro Advanced – Data Engineer
- SnowPro Advanced – Architect
- SnowPro Advanced – Administrator
