Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Snowflake Data & AI Engineering Lead to design, build, and lead enterprise-scale solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. This role combines strong Snowflake engineering, modern data platform architecture, production-grade data pipelines, governance, performance optimization, and practical AI-enabled data capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a technical lead who can own solution design and delivery, mentor engineers, partner with architects and business stakeholders, and help customers build AI-ready data foundations using Snowflake, cloud-native engineering practices, and governed AI/ML capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Ownership

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Snowflake-based data platforms.
- Drive technical decisions, solution design reviews, and implementation best practices.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to data engineers and development teams.
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, design governance, and knowledge sharing.

Snowflake Development & Optimization

- Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions leveraging Snowflake capabilities.
- Build and optimize complex ELT/ETL pipelines supporting analytics and reporting workloads.




- Apply advanced Snowflake platform capabilities for ingestion, orchestration, cloning, recovery, secure data sharing, workload management, and scalable compute optimization.
- Drive performance tuning, query optimization, and cost governance initiatives.

Data Engineering & Integration

- Develop robust data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.
- Build reusable data models and data processing components.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and BI tools.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and availability across the data ecosystem.

Cloud & Modern Data Platforms

- Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Support implementation of Lakehouse and modern analytics architectures.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DataOps principles.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate closely with business users, product owners, architects, and analytics teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Present technical recommendations and solution approaches to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- 7-12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on Snowflake.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, advanced SQL, dimensional and analytical data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ELT/ETL design patterns.




- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools across transformation, ingestion, orchestration, integration, and pipeline automation; exposure to platforms such as dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, Informatica, Talend, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory is valuable.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- SnowPro Core or Advanced Snowflake Certification.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, or modern streaming architectures.
- Knowledge of Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience working with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
- Understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and metadata management.
- Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics workloads.
