We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake administration and platform architecture. The ideal candidate will also act as a Product Owner, driving the vision, roadmap, and governance of the Snowflake data platform while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and drive the Snowflake platform vision, roadmap, and strategy

- Standardize environments across development, testing, and production

- Implement security frameworks including RBAC, SSO/SCIM, MFA, and network policies

- Manage data masking, auditing, retention, and compliance requirements

- Optimize Snowflake warehouses for performance and cost efficiency

- Govern data ingestion using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows

- Monitor performance using resource monitors and query history

- Collaborate with engineering, InfoSec, data governance, and finance teams

- Act as a Product Owner,



managing backlog, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment

- Ensure smooth incident and change management processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in data engineering / data architecture

- Strong hands-on experience as a Snowflake Architect and Administrator

- Advanced SQL expertise

- Robust understanding of data governance and security practices

- Experience with cloud storage integrations (AWS S3 / Azure ADLS)

- Experience in incident and change management

- Ability to define architecture and implement scalable data solutions

Preferred Skills:

- Snowflake certification such as SnowPro

- Experience working in Agile environments

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in handling large-scale enterprise data platforms
