We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Social Science Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop, review, and validate high-quality academic content. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge in areas such as History, Geography, Political Science/Civics, and Economics, along with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review Social Science academic content for students.
- Create and validate questions, answers, explanations, assessments, worksheets, and study materials.
- Ensure content is accurate, age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, and easy to understand.
- Review existing educational content and identify factual, conceptual, grammatical, and formatting errors.
- Prepare questions of varying difficulty levels, including objective, subjective, analytical, and application-based questions.
- Ensure alignment with prescribed school curricula, textbooks, learning objectives, and examination patterns.
- Provide clear explanations and solutions for academic questions.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, facts, concepts, and content standards.
- Participate in content audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with changes in curriculum, educational practices,



and relevant Social Science developments.

Required Skills & Preferred Experience
- Strong knowledge of History, Geography, Civics/Political Science, and Economics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
- Ability to identify factual inconsistencies and conceptual errors.
- Valuable understanding of school-level education and assessment practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and basic digital content tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or teaching experience is an advantage for school-focused roles.
- Experience in teaching, academic content development, question-paper creation, curriculum development, textbook publishing, or educational technology (EdTech).
- Experience working with NCERT/CBSE curricula is an advantage.
