Role Description The Skills Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based at Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management & Science in Indore.

The Skills

Trainer will design and deliver training sessions focused on soft skills, life skills, communication, and presentation skills for students across various programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning training modules, conducting interactive workshops, facilitating group activities, and providing individual guidance to learners to enhance their personal and skilled competencies. The role also involves assessing training needs, creating structured lesson plans, preparing learning materials,



and evaluating learner progress through assessments and feedback.

The Skills

Trainer will collaborate with faculty and academic coordinators to align training outcomes with institutional goals and support continuous improvement of the skills development curriculum.

Qualifications

- Strong Training & Development and Life Skills capabilities, with experience designing and implementing structured skill-building programs.
- Excellent Soft Skills and Communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse groups of learners and facilitate interactive sessions.
- Effective Presentation Skills, with confidence in delivering workshops, seminars, and classroom sessions using varied instructional methods.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a trainer, facilitator, or educator, preferably in higher education or professional skill development settings.
- Ability to create learner-centered content, use basic digital tools for training, and measure learning outcomes through assessments and feedback.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple batches and training schedules.
- Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices that support diverse learners.
