Role Description The Site Engineer Intern will support day-to-day construction and interior fit-out activities at project locations in Chennai. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with site supervision, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, and helping ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. The intern will help conduct basic quality checks, review structural and civil engineering plans under guidance, and report site status to senior engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities also include maintaining site documentation, supporting material inspections,



and participating in problem-solving for on-site issues. The role offers hands-on exposure to interior construction, building solutions, and project execution in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and be comfortable working at active construction and interior project locations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with engineers, contractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess quality control and basic site inspection skills to help ensure workmanship meets design and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in structural engineering and civil engineering principles relevant to interior and construction projects.
- Enrollment in or completion of a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read drawings, use basic measurement tools, and work with MS Office or project documentation tools is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to work full time on-site in Chennai.
- Understanding of safety practices, site housekeeping, and basic construction materials and methods is an advantage.
