Role Description The HR Manager role at Fabs & Glaze is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Daily responsibilities include managing HR policies, maintaining employee records, handling attendance and payroll coordination with the accounts team, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company procedures.

The HR Manager will support training and development initiatives, address workplace issues, and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment.



This role will collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals and support staffing needs for trading and service operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Experience with HR operations such as attendance management, payroll coordination, HR documentation, and policy implementation.
- Understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and workplace health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with HR software or HRIS, MS Office tools, and basic data reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, preferably in trading, construction, or related industries.
