Role Description The Site Engineer role at Himalayam Foundations is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Site

Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including supervising construction work, coordinating with contractors and labor teams, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, conducting quality checks on materials and workmanship, maintaining site documentation, and reporting issues or delays to project management. The role also involves collaborating with structural and civil engineers, resolving technical problems on-site,



and supporting efficient resource utilization to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and familiarity with field operations (On Site, Civil Engineers).
- Candidates should possess effective verbal and written communication abilities for coordinating with teams and stakeholders (Communication).
- Candidates should possess competencies in inspecting work and materials to ensure standards and specifications are met (Quality Control).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of structural engineering principles and civil engineering practices relevant to building and infrastructure projects (Structural Engineering, Civil Engineers).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in building construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in an on-site engineering capacity.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently, make timely decisions, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary project environment.
