Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Billing Engineer to handle project billing, quantity measurement, documentation, and coordination with site, procurement, contractors, consultants, and clients. The candidate should have good knowledge of MEP works, BOQ, rate analysis, measurements, and billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit RA Bills, Interim Bills, and Final Bills for MEP works.
- Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs, measurements, and reconciliation statements.
- Verify work quantities at site and ensure measurements are properly recorded.
- Prepare client and subcontractor bills based on approved BOQ, drawings, specifications, and actual site measurements.
- Check and certify subcontractor/vendor bills and supporting documents.
- Prepare extra-item, deviation, variation, and additional-work statements.
- Assist in rate analysis for new and non-BOQ items.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, MEP Engineers, Site Supervisors, QS/Commercial Team, Procurement and Accounts for billing requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQ and work orders to ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain records of measurement sheets, work orders, bills, approvals, deductions, and payment status.
- Track material consumption and assist in material reconciliation wherever required.
- Verify deductions related to retention, advance, penalties, material recovery,



taxes, and other contractual provisions.
- Support preparation of monthly billing and project cost reports.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for measurement verification and bill certification.
- Ensure timely submission of billing documents and follow up for approvals and certification.
- Maintain proper documentation for variation orders, claims, and commercial correspondence.

Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of MEP works – Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, measurements and rate analysis.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and billing/QS software will be an advantage.
- Understanding of contracts, work orders and billing procedures.
- Good numerical, analytical and documentation skills.

Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in MEP billing/QS/commercial activities.
- Experience in construction, industrial, commercial, infrastructure or MEP contracting projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
