Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvallur, responsible for overseeing civil works and ensuring that construction activities comply with design specifications, standards, and safety requirements. The role involves supervising site operations, coordinating with contractors and project management teams, monitoring progress against the project schedule, and reporting site status and issues. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and technical documents, verifying measurements and quantities, supporting quality control checks, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and best practices.





The Site Civil

Engineer will assist in planning and sequencing construction activities, identifying risks or delays, and proposing practical solutions to keep the project on track. The role also includes collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, participating in site meetings, and maintaining accurate documentation of work completed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering standards and drawings.
- Experience working as part of Civil Engineers teams on construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in site-based roles.
- Skills in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling activities, tracking progress, and supporting resource allocation.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related drainage design and implementation in line with regulatory and safety requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with construction codes, QA/QC practices, and site safety procedures.
- Proficiency in basic engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and MS Office tools for reports and documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Krishnagiri, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or commercial projects is an advantage.
