Shift Supervisor – Coffee Industry Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Department: Operations Position: Shift Supervisor Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the Coffee / Café industry Age: Up to 28 years About the Role We are looking for an experienced and energetic Shift Supervisor with a strong background in the coffee and café industry to manage day-to-day shift operations and ensure an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in café operations, team handling, coffee preparation standards, customer service, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily café operations during the assigned shift. Lead, motivate, and monitor the café team to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with coffee preparation, beverage, food quality, and service standards. Handle customer queries, feedback, and service-related concerns professionally. Monitor opening and closing procedures and ensure proper shift handovers. Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace standards. Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and daily operational requirements. Coordinate with the Store Manager/Restaurant Manager regarding operational issues. Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and service standards. Train and support team members on products, coffee standards, service, and operational procedures. Monitor sales, billing, cash handling,



and shift-related reports. Ensure the café delivers a consistent customer experience throughout the shift.

Candidate

Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Coffee / Café industry. Candidates from coffee-focused cafés, specialty coffee chains, QSR cafés, or premium café brands preferred. Strong knowledge of café operations and coffee preparation. Previous experience in a Shift Supervisor / Shift Leader / Senior Barista / Café Supervisor role preferred. Good team-management and communication skills. Customer-oriented with a robust focus on service quality. Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced café environment. Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Age: Maximum 28 years. Candidates must be currently based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
