Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shop Floor Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, production planning, manpower, and quality on the shop floor. The candidate should have strong leadership, coordination, and process-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily shop-floor activities.
- Plan production schedules and allocate work to operators.
- Monitor output, productivity, and production targets.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, stores, and planning teams.
- Identify production bottlenecks and support corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and documentation.
- Implement 5S, safety practices, and process improvements.
- Guide and support supervisors and shop-floor employees.
