 B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

 Supervise production shift operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.

 Responsible for defining the shift schedule for his team members and report to HR if any indiscipline activity observed.

 To keep close monitoring on each and every activity of mfg. process and report to seniors if any abnormalities & issues.

 Ensuring shift reports are filled timely with 100% accuracy.

 Responsible for achieving shift production goals and as per assigned KRA.

 Responsible to maintain the quality parameters as defined in SOP such as temperature, moisture, color etc.

 Responsible for training operators and contract labour on SOP and any changes into SOP of production process.

 Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

 Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers with maintenance,



store and HR etc.

 Communicate with other Shift supervisors and Plant Manager.

 Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are required to ensure there is no any production loss due to any minor machine break down and conflict within team members and contract labour and report to concerned functional head.

 Identify root causes and take rapid effective action to resolve the problems in hand.

 To have an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.

 Responsible for maintaining for 5 “S” within the allocated area of mfg. process.

 Manpower handling (operators and contract labour) as per the shift assigned.
