An experienced SharePoint Migration SME is sought, specializing in the migration of data from various file storage solutions (Alfresco, File Share, etc.). The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and data analysis skills to effectively engage with site owners regarding data migration and permissions.

Main Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan the migration process from start to completion, ensuring efficiency.

- Analyze site data to guarantee the relevant data is migrated and that access rights are correctly allocated.

- Communicate with site owners in a clear, non-technical manner to ensure understanding of the data and migration process.

- Create reports that provide site owners with a clear overview of their data.

- Offer expert knowledge to the project team on SharePoint-related activities.

- Provision sites and prepare them for data migration.

- Conduct checks to verify that all data has been successfully migrated.

- Identify improvement and automation opportunities within the migration process.

- Provide regular updates to both the Project and Programme Manager regarding status and challenges in site migrations.

- Perform additional related tasks as required.





Key Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience with SharePoint migration.

- Proven proficiency with migration tools such as Sharegate or AvePoint.

- In-depth understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, including modern sites, hubs, communication and team sites, and subsites (with best practices regarding subsites).

- Familiarity with the integration of SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and the broader M365 ecosystem.

- Desirable - ability to use scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for administrative tasks and automation.

- Preferably experienced in consultancy roles, managing expectations and meeting tight deadlines.

Nice to Have:

- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, and SharePoint Online.

- Advanced knowledge of ShareGate.

- Desirable - Microsoft SharePoint certification.

- Desirable - Microsoft Purview skills/certification.
